This is the first book in this wonderfully fantastic series. Alexandra Jennings opens a door and finds herself transported to another world called Medora. She soon finds herself enrolled at Akarnae a special school for people with magical gifts. The first book introduces you to Alex, he friends, Akarnae and Aven, the fallen prince, who plans to use Alex to retake his kingdom and birthright. This is an amzing series with a beautiful world, plot, and characters you'll root for till the end.

Historical Fiction

The Disappearences by Emily Bain Murphy
A standalone this book is set in the past but has a lot of fantasy aspects and is a beautiful and intriuging read. Our main character finds herslef in a town thats cursed to every seven years lose an abstract concept like reflections, stars, and dreams. The book follows Aila as she trys to uncover the secrets of the town and break its curse.

Science Fiction

In 27 Days by Alison Gervais
This is a standalone book and is an amazing book with a beautiful cover and plot. A student at Hadley Jamison's school commits suicide and death approaches Hadley offering a deal, go back in time 27 days to save her classmate. Hadley accepts and the rest of the story follows HAdley and Archer as she tries to break through his walls and be his friend. This book deals with a hard topic in a beautiful way.

Mystery

Alex Rider series by Anthony Horrowitz
Teenage james bond. Those are the words you could use to describe Alex Rider. Alex is a 14yr old english boy when his uncle dies and he finds out he was a spy. His uncles boss then blackmails Alex into going undercover to complete his uncles assignment. The series follows Alex on all sorts of assignmnments as he begrudgingly becomes a teenage spy. THis series is great and full of action and intriuge.

Christian Fiction

If I Run series by Terri Blackstock
The series follows woman named Casey as she runs from the police who murdered her friend and are blaming it on her. Casey is a great main character who cant help but help those whoose paths she crosses even when it puts her at risk. Shes pursued by the cops who murdered her friend and a private investigator named Dylan, who wants the truth and thinks theres a lot more going on then anyone thinks. As Casey faces trial after trial she manages to make friends and allies as well as come to lean on the Lord for strength. (I highly reccommend other authors like Lynn H Blackburn'Dive Team Investigations series' and Lyneete Eason 'Danger Never Sleeps series')
